Hey Everyone!
Welcome to Friday. Today I would like to talk about date night and guys.
Now my babe knows how passionate I am about fashion and style and dressing in all kinds of layers and he supports that...on most days. Except for date night...on date nights he requires some leg or cleavage showing...no crazy floral or aztec patterns...no crazy mix of colors...no bulky sweaters...no questions. WHYYY! WHyyyYY MUST guys be like that?! I LOVE FLORAL PATTERNS!
Unfortunately for him I am an Aries and someone trying to tell me what to wear just doesn't fly with me as easily as some things...so I still layer...Example from last weekend:
Please believe there was no wearing of my blazer in the restaurant....Compromise I guess.
You know what it is...Guys just like simple. At least mine likes simple. What about you, does your significant other ever say anything about your look when they are taking you out?!...I cannot be the only one.
Have a fabulous weekend...I am off to another Friday date night ;-)

My boy loves me in super simple things. Either jeans and sneakers or a button up and blazer. So either a tomboy, or uptight librarian. Doesn't make sense to me at all...

You look lovely. And to answer that question NO you are not the only one my guy likes form fitting and simple and would prefer for me to wear shorts or skirts or dresse to shoe off my legs. So yeah Im like but what about a crazy outfit he just shrugs I know its not his fave.

ReplyDeleteI lovvve the neon bra peeking through -- so very sexy in a chic subtle way! Nice compromise I would have to say :) As you know, my husband is very involved in style for his own career, so he gets a big say in what I wear. He definitely likes simple, definitely likes sexy, but also likes a good sophisticated classy look on me. He likes when I figure out a way to merge the 3 together and I do agree with him for the most part on his taste. There have however been a few trends I have wanted to dabble in but he just won't budge, and I have a hard time wearing something he wouldn't like. For example, sparkly dresses & midriff-showing are some I would like to try but he hates them. I'm not sure why? (more skin = good, right??) But I do agree with him on most other trends that he dislikes :)

ReplyDeleteguess i've been lucky...haven't had any guy who's told me what i could or couldn't wear. if anything, make up was more of an issue...and i don't think i even wear a lot of makeup, lol!
