Heyyyy!

Just got back from a lovely 11 day trip to Peru. My parents moved to Lima in December to hang out for a year, so I made the journey to visit. 

How was it? Beautiful. 

 Here are the first set of some shots I captured with my iphone...I spent the first weekend in Playa Bonita, which is a small beach house community. During the week my parents and I flew to Cuzco, took the tours of the inca ruins in the city and mountains. Took a train to Machu Picchu City and visited Machu Picchu the next day. Definitely my most favorite part...

The food is amazing, the weather was perfect and if you ever get a chance to go....take it.

It has been a crazy week! The buzz in the Bay with the Giant's and A's going to the playoffs is definitely fun!

Last weekend one of my besties from NE came to California for a short but sweet visit. She is one of those people that no matter what always has time to listen and offer the best advice she can come up with...Even if she has no idea. We have been friends so long she is like a sister...Funny how best friends just naturally turn into family as the years, experience and moments pass. I am a lucky girl to have a few good ones like that in my life.

Sometimes a trip back to hang out close friends and family is the perfect remedy for a stressful situation. Nebraska is a comfort zone and always will be. I will always be proud to be from there as it was an interesting place to grow up in, definitely shaped me into the person I am today and I couldn't be more happy about that. Would I recommend a fancy vacation there? No...Would I recommend a party/football weekend? Absolutely, they know how to have a great time.

It was a bitter sweet visit as my mom and stepdad our packing up and shipping out to Peru...YES Peru!...Excited for them....of course you know what that means?! PERU HERE I COME!
My mom started a blog to track her progress of getting there...Check it out for the fun, bumps and excitement of leaving and moving out of the country! Proud of them.

Hey Heyyy~
Man it has be a whirlwind last couple of weeks...Ups and Downs and Ups and Downs...I have been trying to think of a way to explain everything to you guys...I want to stay positive and professional as I believe negativity only attracts negativity.

With that being said I will say this, some things don't always go as planned.
I have always maintained I am BIG dreamer and most of all a BIG doer. I have learned that life will give you bumps in the road and if you let those bumps stop you from doing what you love then they are not bumps but roadblocks, avoid roadblocks at all costs and continue working towards your dreams and goals in life. Do what you love and be passionate about it.

I am excited to let you guys know I have something rolling out very soon...like a couple of weeks soon! It will be all me, fashion and things I love. Excited to have you guys on this journey with me as you have ALWAYS been SO supportive and awesome! I cannot thank you enough!

Heading back to Nebraska early tomorrow morning to pay a visit to the fambam and 100+ degree weather! EEK it is going to be HOT!

Some Things Never Change

 Hey Hey Everyone!

Soooo excited to be back in town and on my blog again! I did have a blast hanging with my family and friends and eating WAY too much good food...I swear Nebraska has the BEST food everrr! If you follow me on twitter you saw'll my photo with pepperoni and cream cheese pizza...why the rest of the country hasn't caught on to cream cheese on pizza is unbeknownst to me! Delish!

These ladies have been my ladies since high school and though there is children and distance in our friendship now we always have the best time like nothing has changed. Miss you girls already <3

 Hey Everyone!

   It's a little known secret that if you plan on visiting California...RIGHT NOW....is the time. The weather is gorgeous on the coast and there is not a drop of fog in sight. This was my Sunday getaway and i'm sorry for all the photos but I couldn't stop clicking away with so much to look at.

I layered up knowing the beach can be slightly windy on the rocks...hence my hair flying all over the place...it's really fun to brush after...not. I grabbed my bright yellow cardigan I scored thrifting a while back and was cozy the whole day....LOVING chunky knits this fall.

I am heading home to Nebraska tomorrow to hang out with some family and friends for a few day...SO excited to get some relaxation in and do nothing for a bit!

It's The Little Things

We took a little road trip this weekend and headed north to the ever so beautiful Lake Tahoe....Seriously the views never get old and I could stay for weeks....I always seem to forget what quiet sounds like until all you can hear is birds and water crashing up against rocks. I guess city life will do that too you....Thank goodness this is only a short drive away... <3 California <3

It wasn't cold at all but it was a little windy so I took the opportunity to wear my new vintage sweater i've been staring at in my closet these last few months....Hello Fall breeze.
